This study investigates the historical words in English and Uzbek languages, exploring the differences and similarities between them through a comparative and contrastive analysis. It covers the definition of comparative and contrastive linguistics, the differences between historisms and archaisms, the presence of historical words in both languages, and aims to provide a thorough understanding of how historical words have evolved and influenced both languages over time.
