This case study aims to teach students about the epidemiology, etiology, and risk of TB transmission in healthcare facilities and congregate settings. It also covers methods for the prevention of TB transmission, including early detection, adequate treatment, surveying contact persons, correct isolation tactics, and placement of patients in hospitals.
