This study provides a comparative analysis of the semantic features of nouns in English and Uzbek languages. It includes a literature review on the problems of grammatical categories related to nouns, an overview of the semantic features of nouns, and a typological analysis of concrete and abstract nouns in both languages. The study also analyzes countable and uncountable nouns, provides case studies with illustrative examples, and presents the results of a comparative analysis highlighting key similarities and differences in the semantic structure of nouns.
