This document is a course work on the selection and adaptation of texts in a foreign language for teaching children's literature. It discusses teachers' perceptions of using children's literature in EFL education, criteria for choosing texts, obstacles for using literature, readability, and adaptation of children's literary works. The goal is to improve foreign language teaching in Uzbekistan and ensure graduates are fluent in at least 2 foreign languages.
