COVID-19 is a new strain of coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans. Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, and shortness of breath. In more severe cases, infection can lead to pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, renal failure, and death. Currently, there is no vaccine for COVID-19.
