This document provides information on the physiology of bile ducts, including intrahepatic and extrahepatic biliary tracts, the function of the gallbladder in concentrating and storing hepatic bile, as well as the role of the Sphincter of Oddi in regulating the flow of bile and pancreatic juice into the duodenum.
